Public Speaking Workshop (8 hours)
Goal: The Introduction to Public Speaking course covers "Tools of the Trade" including voice, eye contact, expression, gestures, posture and movement through many interactive and "hands on" experiences.
Objectives:
- Develop confidence in using a basic communication tool - YOURSELF
- Learn how significant word choice is through the "Vivacious Vocabulary" activity
- Develop a basic understanding of audience-centred speech development and organization
- Learn how to creatively weave a story into a meaningful message that motivates the audience to respond and take those messages and speaker's experiences into action in their own lives

Goal Setting Workshop (8 hours)
Goal: The Goal Setting Workshop is designed to assist workshop participants to facilitate a Goal Setting Presentation to school-aged children and young athletes.
Objectives:
- Learn to use a variety of components to make a presentation more audience-centred, interactive and engaging
- Develop a goal setting presentation incorporating personal experiences
- Learn facilitation techniques to teach the process of setting goals to the audience

Sport Demo Workshop (4 hours)
Goal: Participants are taught how to give an exciting sport demonstration presentation to school-aged children and young athletes.
Objectives:
- Develop a hands-on visual and interactive style to help the audience connect with the athlete, their sport, and their message
- Learn how to get the audience moving while promoting their sport in a positive, fun manner that results in positive exposure and a following of fans

Media Relations (2.5 hours)
Goal: Participants are taught to be media savvy and capable of inciting sponsorship and news coverage while achieving peak performance in sport, during a customized workshop.
Objectives:
- Develop an understanding of the integral role media plays in sport
- Train to become a competent spokesperson
- Gain knowledge of the inner workings of the media
- Develop awareness of rights and responsibilities towards media requests
- Be taught how to become proactive in developing media relationships
- Learn to take charge of media encounters and get key messages across
- Receive tips on how to make the most of media opportunities
- Experience an on-camera interview in different news scenarios
- Be given constructive feedback to improve media relations skills
- Receive a Media Tips Card for future reference

Self-Marketing Portfolio Workshop (2 hours)
Goal: Workshop participants learn the principles of marketing themselves and how to design a sponsorship package to enhance the acquisition of potential sponsors.
Objectives:
- Learn ways to enhance one's appeal and image in a professional manner
- Build awareness about the values likely to increase corporate and community interest and support
- Identify key personal attributes to enhance marketability
- Learn techniques on how to search for potential sponsors
- Increase knowledge of successful ways to make contact with companies
- Develop ideas on how to best service your sponsor
